MISSOURI LOVES COMPANY
For 2025, the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is brewing "Beers from Abroad" - a series of four international beer styles for this year's Missouri Loves Company® collaboration beer project. Brewers from across the Show-Me State come together quarterly to brew a beer together. The four host breweries collaborated early this year on which international style they want to brew. Then all the participating breweries are invited to collaborate via video conference to dial in the recipe for the beer.
Our first 2025 brew day was a banger! We gathered at Kansas City Bier Company to brew a Belgian-style Tripel. A Belgian-style Tripel is a strong, golden ale known for its complex flavors, high carbonation, and smooth, dry finish. It features fruity and spicy yeast character, with notes of banana, pear, and clove, balanced by a light malt sweetness and a touch of honey or biscuit-like flavors. Despite its high ABV, it remains effervescent and drinkable, with a subtle warmth from the alcohol. A moderate hop bitterness adds balance, while the signature peppery phenolics from Belgian yeast provide a crisp, refreshing complexity. Our Missouri Loves Company® version weighs in at 8.5% ABV and is sure to be a delight to behold!
The Missouri Loves Company® Belgian-style Tripel will be available in 6-packs of 12 ounce cans on Wednesday, April 9 at participating breweries. And like all our collaboration brews, once it's gone, it's gone!
