MISSOURI LOVES COMPANY
The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is proud to bring you the newest version from our collaboration beer project "Missouri Loves Company®" - Winter Warmer Ale. Brewers from across the Show-Me State came together at Third Wheel Brewing in St. Peters in late October to brew the recipe they developed together via video conferencing. The brewers vote on what style they want to brew and we work with our Allied Trade partners on securing ingredients and supplies. The experience gives our brewers the opportunity to experiment with new ingredients and collectively see how they will work in a recipe before they decide to use them in their own breweries.
Our Missouri Loves Company® Winter Warmer Ale is 8% ABV and 48 IBUs and was brewed with a big malt bill consisting of Maris Otter base, Munich malt, Caramel 60, and Caramel 150/Special B. We went piney and earthy for balance and to evoke that "christmas tree" aroma with Centennial, Chinook and Willamette hops, and we stayed pretty neutral with yeast using Lutra. With this beer you will experience boozy caramel, hints of fig, raisin, slight pine and hints of bitter orange combine for the perfect beer to pair with chilly nights, ugly sweaters and a nip of bourbon to keep your winter nights warm. Just in time for the holiday season, Winter Warmer Ale will be released on December 7 at each of our 31 participating brewery locations. We hope you love drinking it as much as we loved brewing it.
The name of our collaboration beer series genuinely represents our state's craft beer community. Even before a virus rocked our worlds, Missouri craft brewers helped each other solve problems, share ideas, and work together to make all Missouri craft beer better. That spirit of camaraderie remains strong two years later and helps forge new and stronger bonds among our already close-knit industry.
A collaboration with 31 member breweries and the support of ten corporate sponsors, the proceeds from this project will directly benefit the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild. By buying this beer, you're supporting the Guild and our efforts to advocate for the craft beer industry at the state and federal level, and to promote independent craft brewers in the Show-Me State.
