Who we are

The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization representing more than 170 independent craft breweries in the state of Missouri.

Incorporated as a non-profit in 2016, the primary focus of the Guild is to advocate for a just and a rational regulatory and statutory environment at the state and federal level and to promote independent craft brewers in the state of Missouri.

In short, we protect and promote the interests of Missouri’s independent craft brewers.

Missouri Craft Beer is an industry driven by relationships and community. By growing our relationships between our members through knowledge sharing & collaboration, we become a stronger community. By fostering relationships with our local & state policymakers, we grow our industry’s influence. By providing the highest quality product & experience possible to our state’s craft beer lovers, we raise the tide for our members, our allied partners, and our community as a whole.

The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is a tireless advocate for our members and our industry. As the collective voice of Missouri's brewers, we strive to actively participate in the legislative process and educate policymakers about our industry and the positive impact we bring to the state of Missouri.

The Guild aims to elevate Missouri brewers by creating a healthy, sustainable and equitable industry that protects the rights of its members to produce and sell their products, while working to grow and diversify craft beer.

The Guild is dedicated to the promotion and protection of the craft beer industry in Missouri and works to ensure that our members operate free from undue burdens and restrictions. The Guild is committed to educating the public about the responsible enjoyment of Missouri craft beer and promoting the benefits Missouri craft beer brings to our communities.

The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is a coalition of professional brewers that provide leadership to the craft beer community. Our member’s expertise and experience is the Guild’s most valuable asset. Although we are competitors, we are also collaborators and together we are greater than the sum of our parts.

The Guild strives to be an facilitator of knowledge exchange for the Missouri craft beer industry encouraging our members to share information and ideas openly and honestly in an environment of trust and mutual respect. The guild hopes to create educational, economic, and social opportunities to its members through mentorship, networking and collaboration.

The Missouri craft beer industry is filled with incredibly diverse and intelligent people with a vast array of experience and backgrounds working in all aspects of our industry from manufacturing, to retail, to hospitality. Only by harnessing this diverse talent pool can our industry realize its full potential.

Our industry is a community built on the foundations of sustainability, quality, education, and relationships. We work together to make our industry and our state a better place.

The Missouri Craft Brewers Guild strives to be the voice for craft beer in the state by building a brand equating Missouri Craft Beer with superior quality and an exceptional experience. The Guild aims to increase brand awareness of Missouri breweries, inspire people to seek out Missouri craft beer, and instill a sense of pride in our members and their products. The Guild is dedicated to educating the public about the quality and diversity of Missouri craft beer and strives to increase tourism to the state by establishing Missouri as a world class beer destination.
