PROTECTING MISSOURI CRAFT BEER

The primary focus of the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild is to advocate for a just and a rational regulatory and statutory environment at the state and federal level and to promote independent craft brewers in the state of Missouri. Your support and participation as members is vital to our success, and as we grow our numbers, we will grow in strength.

ADVOCATE FOR CRAFT BEER

Our annual Craft Beer Day at the Capitol event brings a group of our Brewery Members to the state capitol to meet with our lawmakers, share the economic impact of craft beer, and discuss some of the challenges facing the craft beer industry. This event is typically held in late February / early March each year.

INVITE YOUR LAWMAKERS TO THE BREWERY

One of the most important ways to advocate for craft beer is to establish relationships with our elected officials. Invite your Missouri Representative or Senator to your brewery for a tour. Talk about the jobs you have created, the impact on your local community, and your successes and challenges as a small manufacturer in a highly regulated industry. When lawmakers get to know you as a small business in their district, they are more likely to listen. We can help set this up. Contact Sherry to get started.
